I will try not to recite the same story at every get together.
To conserve more water, I would avoid taking bath whenever possible.
I will grow my hair. I will cut my hair. And, I will stop worrying about my hair.
I will think of some more imaginative excuses for taking a leave as my boss has started reading my mind.
